This issue of the comic book anthology holds 3 quirky pieces dealing with major or minor struggles and outcomes that lead me to believe that nothing matters but the fact that you can look back and laugh at the hilarious journeys taken to otherwise non-notable destinations. Corinne Mucha’s “Growing Up Haunted” is a playfully silly story involving live-in witches. Her detailed drawings and diagrams are complete with insider captions and the growth sprouting from her main character’s hair keeps me ever curious. She’s followed by Elijah Brubaker’s 2 pager, “High School,” a darker comic that gets straight to the point; and in Jeremy Tinder’s, “Pete At Night” we find Pete, at night, in an alley, with a bird. All guaranteed to make you laugh, and aesthetically pleasing, too!
